2012 Arvada Night Out

2012 Arvada Night Out Reliable Home Security Stand
Reliable Home Security participated in Arvada’s National Night Out community meeting.

One of the best ways to drive down crime in a neighborhood, is obviously to get as many neighbors involved in watch programs, crime awareness education and have more homes with monitored security systems installed and displayed with security yard signs.

Homes that have monitored security systems are five times less likely to be burglarized.

We absolutely welcome every opportunity to present different security ideas at neighborhood community events. We present different security system features and benefits, talk about making each neighborhood safer, and explain how you can actually save money by lowering your homeowners insurance premiums.

For example, we just participated in Arvada’s National Night Out community meeting. National Night Out (NNO) is a police/community partnership designed to help build safer neighborhoods and communities. Held each year on the first Tuesday in August, the event this year took place on Tuesday, August 7, 2012.  See more pictures in Reliable Home Security Flickr stream

National Night Out 2012

Arvada Police want to be part of your neighborhood’s Night Out Against Crime

National Night Out (NNO) is a police/community partnership designed to help build safer neighborhoods and communities. Held each year on the first Tuesday in August, the event this year will take place on Tuesday, August 7, 2012.

NNO brings together involved citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials to fight crime through a safe, easy-to-participate event that builds community.

The Arvada Police want to be a part of your community’s event. Members of the department will come to your neighborhood to talk about crime-prevention programs and discuss other ways to strengthen neighborhood spirit and build police-community partnerships.

Along with the traditional display of outdoor lights and front porch vigils, neighbors are invited to work together to create block parties, cookouts, neighborhood parades and flashlight walks.

NNO has proven to be an effective, inexpensive and enjoyable program that heightens crime and drug prevention awareness. It sends a strong message to criminals, letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

If you are planning a homeowners meeting in your neighborhood and would like to learn more about securing your homes, give us a call and we can set up an educational display of home security products and services available throughout the Colorado front range.
